ABU DHABI: Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, was welcomed to the UAE today by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh Mohamed and the Indian PM talked about ways to strengthen their bilateral ties during the meeting. They also looked into ways to increase cooperation between the two nations.
Sheikh Mohamed posted on Twitter, “I had the pleasure of welcoming Indian Prime Minister @narendramodi to Abu Dhabi today.” We discussed the status of our bilateral ties, our shared interest in promoting long-term global growth, and ways to strengthen collaboration between our countries and people. They had a friendly discussion about the historical ties between the two countries and their people, and they praised the level of joint strategic cooperation between the two countries in a variety of vital sectors.
