KG children of AYIS get to know nature for a better future for the earth

Riyadh: Al Yasmin Int’l School KG Division celebrated World Environment Day on June 5th. The school participated in this year’s World Environment Day with the theme “Quit Plastic” in harmony with nature. The school authorities managed to make this an exciting and novel experience for their KG kids.

Dr. S. M. Shaukat Parvez, principal and HOI of AYIS, was the chief guest. Admin Manager Shanoj Abdullah and Office Superintendent Mrs. Raheena Latif extended their greetings. Mrs. Rahana Amjad, headmistress of the KG Department, delivered the welcome speech. All of the special visitors were honored with bouquets.

The program began with an Arabic holy prayer. “Save Nature, Save Future” was chosen as the program’s thought of the day.

The KG students performed a dance performance called “Save the Earth” and a skit titled “Save the Tree.” Making something useful out of waste and displaying it in the assembly involved a lot of help from kids and parents.

Dr. S. M. Shaukat Parvez, principal, spoke about the significance of Earth Day. It was an honor for everyone to be present on such a grand day.
