‘Packwell’ Eco-friendly products have launched in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: Eco-friendly products from the “Packwell” brand have made their debut in Saudi Arabia, courtesy of Western International Group. The company has unveiled a range of over 3,000 top-tier items in the plastic, aluminium and paper sectors within disposable food packaging.

With a commitment to expanding the accessibility of environmentally conscious products that pose no harm to the planet, Packwell implemented D2W (Degrade to Water Technology) in the production of plastic goods. General Manager Ashraf Chelingat affirms that this approach prevents environmental harm.

The product lineup includes aluminum foil, aluminum-plastic containers, cling film, plastic wraps, paper-plastic cups, plates, tableware, paper-plastic bags, as well as hygiene and safety products, and industrial packaging. Packwell has secured quality certifications from several countries and international organizations.

In its strategic expansion plan, Packwell aims to establish branches in Jeddah and Dammam, along with 50 retail outlets nationwide by the coming year. Management representatives assert that the direct distribution of food-grade quality products allows them to offer optimal quality at competitive prices.

Vice President Oommen Mathew reveals that Western International Group, headquartered in Dubai, oversees retail distribution chains and more than 30 other brands, including Nesto, Geepas, Royalford, and various consumer electronics, household, fashion, and textile brands. These products are available in 90 countries worldwide, with direct distribution to 60 countries. Oommen Mathew notes that the Western Group employs over 30,000 individuals across different countries.
