Riyadh: On the occasion of Women’s Day, Pravasi Welfare Riyadh Women’s wing organized an evening discussion on the theme of ‘Women in the Digital Age’. Inaugurating the program, Adv. Regi said that women still need to rise in political and social spaces.
The discussion was moderated by Shahnaz Saheel and dealt with various topics like individual, family, society, politics and social justice.
Dr. Naseema, Jolly John, Sherin Shamsudeen, Nikhila Samir, Rahmat Ashraf (KMCC) Safia Teacher, Dr. Najina, Shaibina Teacher, Shadia Shajahan, Abdia Shafina, delivered felicitation speeches.
The cover page of poetess Nikhila Sameer’s poetry collection “Neeum Nilavum (You and the Moonlight) released by Adv. Reji and Safia Teacher. Agnichirakukal (Wings of Fire) a “photospot installation” prepared by Central Committee member Afnida was spectacular and grabbed everyone’s attention.
Hasna Ayub Khan’s song, and children’s dance performance on the theme of Saudi Flag Day made the event more enjoyable. Executive Member Naisi Sajjad delivered the welcome speech and Central Committee Member Ayesha T. P delivered the vote of thanks.
