KOCHI: NAPCO, a company established in 1956, currently has more than five thousand employees, plans to organize a gathering for its former staff in Kerala. The organizing committee expects 180 ex-employees and their family members to join the get-together. The event titled Napcomates Family Sangamam – 2023 will be held at TKR Metro Residency close to Changampuzha Park, Edapalli, Kochi from 10 in the morning onwards on January 22nd.
A lot of Malayalees have been working in this company since 1956 almost since the beginning of Kerala’s diaspora migration. It is the first time in the history of the Gulf diaspora that people who have worked in different positions at different eras in a single company are coming together. Perhaps such a gathering will be rare in the history of the world even.
